Still Have Doubts? Let’s Clear Them Up.

Is microneedling painful?

Most clients compare the sensation to light sandpaper. We apply a medical-grade numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Post-treatment, expect mild redness, like a light sunburn, that fades within 24–48 hours.

What’s the downtime?

Very little. You may experience temporary redness, slight swelling, or dryness, usually resolving within 1–3 days. Avoid makeup and sun exposure for at least 24 hours to maximize results.

How soon will I see results?

Most clients start noticing changes in just a few days, like smoother texture and a healthier glow. Firmer skin and reduced acne scars typically appear over the next few weeks as your body’s repair system kicks in. And because we’re working with your biology, the results build naturally over time.

Is microneedling safe for darker skin tones?

Yes. Microneedling avoids heat-based damage common in other treatments, reducing risk of pigment changes in darker or sensitive skin types.

How is this different from dermarolling at home?

DIY rollers have shorter needles and can risk uneven results or infection. Professional microneedling uses medical-grade tools and sterilized serums to inject precision without compromising safety.

What about side effects or risks?

Temporary redness, swelling, or mild irritation is normal and short-lived. Serious risks like infection or hyperpigmentation are very rare when performed by licensed professionals who follow strict safety standards.

Who should not get microneedling?

If you’re currently using retinoids, have active cystic acne, eczema, or are on certain medications (like isotretinoin), it’s best to wait until cleared. Your esthetician will determine suitability during your consultation.
